In general, clients pay me directly before or at each session (via cash or electronic transfer) and then claim back from medical aid with a monthly emailed statement, if they so desire. However, various payment options may be discussed.
Cancellation of sessions

Should you wish to change or cancel an appointment please do so 24-hours prior to your session. Such consideration will be highly appreciated.
Confidentiality

What is therapy and how long will it take for me to know I am better?
Therapy is a process. In this process therapist and client will together analyze, explore, discuss and understand a problem(s) and set goals for the therapy process in order to facilitate change, improved functioning and healing. The secondary aim is to assist the client in gaining some insight and understanding, which may lead to improved ways of being. It is sometimes expected of the client to do some homework during the time lapse between sessions or the next appointment. Because each individual is unique and degrees of problems may vary, it is not possible to say upfront how many sessions will be needed. Therapy is tailor-made to best assist each individual. However, because many medical aids only allow a limited number of sessions, the therapist will endeavour to address the most pressing issues within that limitation.
